Commissioned by one of Australia's largest classic car collectors and based on a 1951 RHD car as a usable tribute to chassis no 5 the oldest known surviving competition XK120 (also owned by the same gentleman ). The two cars were brought together and detailed measurements of number 5 were taken and a bespoke alloy body commissioned.. It was then reassembled on a no expense spared basis using as many new parts as could be sourced . .Power is provided by a. 3.8 block with an original C-Type head. 1 3\4 inch sand cast SU carbs,. 5 speed Tremec gearbox, , rack and pinion steering ,,all round discs (XK 150). adjustable shocks. new wires shod with Blockley tyres.
